Well, I can't remember exactly the measurements of everything I put in there... Heat crockpot on HIGH for 30 minutes. Dump in 3 T. coconut oil, 1 t. sesame oil, 1 T. soy sauce, and 1 T. of that sriracha spice. Stir it up. After crock is heated, stir in 5 cups whole, raw almonds and switch to LOW. Cook for 2 hours. (I should mention, I did not stir but once during the cooking time & we had some maybe too toasty nuts -- so I'd stir well maybe every 15 min?) After the 2 hours, remove lid & turn back to HIGH for 30 minutes. (Might need to stir frequently during this time, or maybe my crock was just heating unevenly...) Turn nuts out onto parchment paper to cool. (Burned my tongue eating them while they were too hot :( )
ohh man those look so good. Is it a recipe you can share? I know just the young man who would be so in love with these.
